I haven't made much progress on this blog yet. It's been busy around here this week. I really want to learn to use this blog but there are things I haven't figured out just yet. I will keep at it though!! 

Today I baked a chocolate cake from scratch for our youth group. I remembered I had a recipe that a friend had given me about 30 years ago. It took me a little while to recall where I had stashed it. I recalled making it years ago and loving it. I found it in an old recipe box. My memory served me well. It is delicious and easy to make. I will try to post it when I have a little more time. Right now I have to head over to the church. 

I decided it was time to try this blog thing. I am not a writer. I am just a housewife who enjoys reading blogs and learning from others who post about their lives. Just getting this started for now. I have a lot to learn about how this whole blog thing works but I guess I have to start somewhere! So here goes!!
